A new Status window, a player frame with HP and SP bars, an option to switch back to the classic interface, and cheaper homunculi.

Status window

• Status (Alt+A) has a new look with the classic layout: your stats with their + buttons and point costs on the left, Atk, Matk, Hit, Critical, Def, Mdef, Flee and Aspd on the right.
• Hover any stat to see what it does and what the next point costs.
• Trait Status for 4th jobs is folded away under the stats. Click it to open, and it shows how many trait points you have left.

Player frame

• Basic Information is now a player frame: your character's head and base level, HP and SP bars (and AP when you have it), Base and Job EXP, weight and zeny.
• HP turns yellow and then red when it gets low. Weight turns yellow at 50% (no HP/SP regen) and red at 90% (no attacking).
• The grid button opens the game menu (Status, Equip, Inventory, Skills, Party, Guild, Mail and more). Drag the frame anywhere you like.

Classic interface option

• Prefer the original look? Go to Game Settings > Skin and pick <Basic Skin> (or any other skin) to get the game's original windows back. Pick WeeklyRO to return to the new ones. It switches instantly.

Homunculus

• Calling your homunculus back after Rest no longer needs a Seed of Life. Creating a new one still uses an Embryo.

Fixes

• Boxes like Box of 20 White Potions no longer lose their items when you're overweight or your inventory is full. Whatever doesn't fit is sent to your mail.
• Opening a Mystic Egg or another box with a "Do you want to open" prompt no longer crashes the game.
• The Equipment window has a Cart button to open your cart, and Alt+Q / Alt+X switch its Equipment and Costume tabs again.
• Typing an amount (selling, mail, storage) and pressing Enter no longer sends that number in public chat.
• The dark panel behind the chat window is gone.
• Fixed a rare graphics error when walking through a portal.

Log in every day for free rewards, chat 1:1 in the new Messages window, and get your homunculus and mercenary working again.

Daily Check-in

• A new WeeklyRO Daily Check-in opens when you log in (or from the calendar button in the menu). Click Claim once a day; the reward arrives in your mail.
• 20 rewards per month: potions, scrolls, Elunium and Oridecon, Yggdrasil Berries and Seeds, Blacksmith's Blessings and three costume eggs (Day 7 and Day 14 change every month, Day 15 rotates).
• Missing a day doesn't reset your progress. Hover a day to see its reward, right-click it for Item Details.

Messages (1:1 chat)

• Open 1:1 chat works again and opens the new Messages window: everyone you talk to on the left, the conversation on the right.
• A new whisper opens it by itself without taking your keyboard, so your hotkeys keep working.
• Item links work here too (Shift+click an item while typing). "···" has Add as friend, Copy name, Block whispers and Close conversation.

Homunculus & mercenary

• The game was missing its AI files, so homunculi and mercenaries showed an error and didn't act. They now follow and fight again. Your own custom AI scripts are safe: changing them won't make the patcher ask for a Repair.

Prontera

• The Universal Rental NPC moved to Prontera 154, 197. It now also gives Windhawks their Hawk Flute and Meisters their Machine Creation Guide.
• New Material Dealer at 157, 198: potions, wings, gemstones and other tools at normal prices, plus Beakers for Biolos.
• A Grade Enhancer now stands in the Prontera refinery (prt_in 55, 68).

Fixes

• Equipment window: an Off button to get off your mount or remove your cart, falcon or Mado Gear.
• Chat no longer opens by itself after a Fly Wing or map change.
• Dragging items from Storage and the Cart into the Inventory works again, and the "how many" box now opens next to the Inventory.
• The mouse cursor no longer disappears while a menu is open.

A big round of updates: a new Rental NPC in Prontera, a fresh look for several game windows, and a handful of fixes.

New in game

• Universal Rental NPC in Prontera, next to the Stylist. One click, free: you get a Cart, Falcon, Peco Peco, Dragon, Gryphon or Mado Gear, whatever fits your class and skills.
• Weekly Bonus: every week one dungeon gives +50% base & job EXP (it changes Monday 00:00, Central European time). On weekends one MVP also drops 25% more. Type @weeklybonus to see this week's picks.
• Starter kit for every character: 100 Novice Potions, 50 Fly Wings, 10 Butterfly Wings, 10 Magnifiers and 3 Battle Manuals.
• Prontera services side by side: Kafra, Job Master, Reset Girl, Warper, Healer (now with Blessing and Increase AGI) and the Stylist (hairstyle, hair colour and clothes colour, all free).

New game windows

• Item Details (right-click an item): name, type, stats, cards, whether your class can wear it, and where it drops.
• Inventory (Alt+E): Items, Equipment, Etc and ★ Favorites tabs, a search box, sorting by name or amount, and a weight bar. Drag an item onto the ★ tab to make it a favorite.
• Equipment (Alt+Q): Equipment, Costume, Title and Damage Indicator tabs; every slot shows the item with its refine and cards. Hover for details, double-click to take off.
• Chat: All, Party, Guild, Whispers and Battle tabs with new-message counts and a see-through background.
• Pick Say, Party, Guild or Whisper with the button left of the input line.
• Whispers show in the Whispers tab instead of small pop-up windows.
• Shift+click an item while typing to link it; click a link in chat to see the item.
• Right-click a player's name to whisper, add as friend, invite to party, block or copy the name.
• The arrow button makes the chat taller or shorter; drag the tab bar to move it.
• Everything else works the same as before: double-click, drag & drop, hotkeys and / commands.

Fixes

• The Job Master now lets transcendent 3rd jobs change to their 4th job.
• Town NPCs no longer stand on top of each other (Lighthalzen, Gonryun, Nameless Island).
• The game's taskbar icon shows properly instead of a blank icon.

Hello, Weeklings! (Uhh, that's probably not a good name to call you.)

I just released the newest Ragnarok Online server. If I'm completely honest, releasing one has been one of my biggest dreams. I was around 10 years old when I learned about eAthena, and that's when I started learning how to code. Unfortunately, life turned sour and I couldn't really continue. But now, thanks to AI, I can finally release one.

I know, AI is a controversial way of building projects like this, but I'm a solo developer. I don't have the time or money to hire developers, designers and artists to make art like what you see on our website. Maybe someday, when I have enough time and resources, I can replace it. For now, please enjoy the server. Thank you!
